With no Kona this year or much racing at all, we look to the future to try and work out who we think will be the next new Kona champions. Who will be the next male and female athletes to win Kona who have never won Kona before? Will it be Lionel Sanders or will his second place be his best effort? Can Lucy Charles-Barclay put together a performance good enough to beat Daniela Ryf? Or do we need to look further into the future at up and coming stars like Kristian Blummenfelt or Ashleigh Gentle?

We are also excited to be joined by American triathlete, former World Champion and last year's Kona runner-up, Tim O'Donnell. Anne was part of one of the most exciting women's races we have seen in Kona for many years and is the first German to ever win the race. We talk about her amazing day in Kona, how her short course career prepared her for long course success and ask if she thinks she can beat Daniela Ryf on her best day. We also discuss the appointment of the new PTO Vice-Chairman Chris Kermode and what he could bring to triathlon.
This week we are joined by Lauren Parker, the 2019 ITU World Paratriathlon Champion, member of the Bahrain Endurance 13 Team, and 2018 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist. We talk about her journey through paratriathlon following her accident in 2017, her achievements so far, and her plans for the future. We also discuss changes to IronMan pro racing and prize money, a new everesting record and introduce their new PTO specific segment focusing on all things Professional Triathletes Organisation.
IronMan is being sued for not offering refunds for events cancelled during COVID. A complaint has been filed in Florida and the MX Endurance team unpack what it's all about as well as the thoughts of some of our members. We are also lucky to be joined by ITU athlete, Georgia Taylor-Brown to discuss her approach to Tokyo 2020(21), what training in Leeds with the Brownlee's is like and the different approaches to endurance training for women to men.
